School timetable

Welcome to Collingham Lady Elizabeth Hastings C of E Primary School!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, we hope to provide you with a snapshot of the Collingham School experience, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.  Whether you are a parent or carer of a child who is already at Collingham School or are considering our school for your child, we hope you enjoy your visit to our web site and that you find the information you are looking for.

Collingham is a thriving village school serving its local community. We are a busy and friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

We have an enthusiastic, highly skilled and motivated staff who are committed to the school’s caring, child-centred and Christian ethos. Staff work together to create a secure, happy, purposeful and stimulating environment where all children feel respected and valued.

Because we know children learn best when they are happy, we place great value on personal and social education and on providing a rich, broad, balanced curriculum. Our academic standards are maintained at a level significantly above the national average, with Collingham’s results often being in the top 100 of schools nationally. In 2013 Collingham's end of KS2 results placed the school in the top 30 of schools nationally. The children experience a variety of educational visits out of school and visitors and workshops regularly come in to enrich the curriculum during the school day.

We offer woodwind and guitar lessons for KS2 children and a range of clubs take part at the end of each school day.  This includes a successful computer club and a range of after school sports opportunities.  There is also an opportunity to participate in school and community events as part of our KS2 choir.

We have high expectations of our children and work hard to help them develop a sense of responsibility and self-discipline founded in the Christian values as set out in our RESPECT code - we are very proud of our children's attitudes to learning and of the standards of behaviour demonstrated by the children in our school.
