Autumn 2 Week 7 Blog

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Wow! What a fantastic couple of weeks. We were so incredibly proud of the children when they performed in our Big Little Nativity last week. This is such a huge event for the children (and parents!) with many of them never having performed properly on a stage in front of such a big audience. We loved every minute (well, apart from the very long ones when technology momentarily failed us!) and hope that you did too!

Our busy little elves have been trying incredibly hard to master the skill of sewing! As a school, we have decided to once again support a local charity called ‘Be a Santa for a Senior’ and in Reception, we made elf decorations which we hope will bring lots of seniors some much-needed joy this Christmas. We hope you enjoy the crafts that they have created for you this Christmas too.

The children really enjoyed a visit from the Big Man himself yesterday, as well as our Christmas Party. We played ‘Pass the Stocking’ where the children had to pick out a forfeit if the music stopped on them. We were so impressed that they all got into the party spirit and had a go – it was very funny!

We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to you all for your support throughout the whole term, and for our very generous Christmas presents – what a treat! We have also loved receiving lots of lovely cards with some fantastic writing by the children.

We hope that you a have a relaxing and truly magical Christmas.
