Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our annual Sports Day that was due to take place on Wednesday 19th June. We have been watching the weather forecasts very closely for over a week and - on Wednesday - a full morning of rain looks set. In addition, with the amount of rain we have had just recently, the field is very wet and the council's Parks team have not had an opportunity to mark out the school field.
As you will have seen on the school newsletter, we had set a reserve date of Wednesday 10th July and we will now be taking advantage of this. The structure of Sports Day will remain unchanged and we will be keeping everything crossed for the sun to finally arrive for an extended period.
