I am pleased to confirm that the new Remote Learning Hub has just gone live on the school website. This is to replace the previous Home Learning Hub that was used in the initial lockdown and school closure period.
It can be accessed on the following link: https://www.collinghamschool.com/remote-learning-hub/
Our Remote Learning Hub will be used to help support with learning in the event of individual children being required to self-isolate; whole class bubbles being collapsed; or full/partial school closures as a result of COVID-19.
With school now choosing to use Google Classroom as the primary tool for releasing work and communicating with the children, Mr Duffy has today spent his first day of self-isolation creating three short user guide videos for parents. These have been added to the hub for you to access in your own time.
These videos explain how to access Google Classroom and find work; how to complete assignments and submit work to the teachers; and how to receive work back from the teachers.
These will be particularly useful for our Year 5 parents who will be accessing this remote provision properly from tomorrow, but also for all of our parents in case Google Classroom is required in the future.
Thank you to Mr Duffy for creating these professional and easy to follow videos. A fantastic job!
