There is no need to print most of the activities as answers and responses can be written straight into books or on any paper.

BBC Bitesize – From this week White Rose Maths and BBC Bitesize run in line with each other. This means that every day, there’s a learning video on the White Rose page to watch and a link to that day’s BBC Bitesize page for more information and even more lesson content.
Writing – Newspaper Reports
This week, The National Oak Academy are looking at writing Newspaper reports. In this week’s lessons, you will cover a number of English objectives including: fact retrieval, identifying key features of a text, adverbials and writing your newspaper report on the hybrid animal you created last week. Have a go at completing each of the daily activities and do not forget to send me your newspaper reports at the end of the week.

We hope you will enjoy completing the activities, which can be completed anytime throughout the Summer Term. The children can choose to complete as many of the activities they would like, once an activity has been completed you send it to me on the Year 3 email address and will upload them to our class web page.

First of all year 3 I wanted to say how amazing your recent science work has been. Your fantastic reports on the human skeleton and your brilliant scores on the quiz I set for you on Purple Mash blew me away.
In this week’s science lesson, we are going to be focusing on our mighty muscles. We are going to explore what muscles we have in our body and how they help us every day. Have a look through the PowerPoint below and watch the BBC video clip. Once you have done that, complete the Purple Mash 2Do. Use the animated clipart picture to explain how muscles work.
