Week 2
This half term we have started our new topic which is a Geography based one. We had a visit from 'Travelling Ted' who was lost and needed us to tell him where he was. The children enjoyed using pictures and maps to tell Ted that he was in a village called Collingham which is in a city called Leeds. We took Travelling Ted and Travelling Monkey on a walk to show them the physical and human features of Collingham. The children were FANTASTIC at identifying these features and were so well-behaved on our walk - we were very proud of them!
We have started our new topic in art which is all about printing. This week, the children used plasticine to make their own printing blocks. They are very excited to start printing with them next week and create their own design.
