Week 3
We have had a week of super learning in year 1 this week! We have been really impressed with how engaged the children have been with their provision activities and how they are really beginning to challenge themselves with their own learning.
The children enjoyed completing a maths hunt around the classroom this week. They had to find the numbers hiding around the classroom and then find one less than that number. The children worked together in pairs to think about their answers and demonstrated great collaborative working.
The children designed their animal puppets this week. They thought really carefully about how they will join the fabric and what finishing touches they will add. They are very excited to start learning the skills they will need to make their puppet.
