Week 4

This half term is certainly flying by! We can't believe there are only 3 more weeks left before the Summer!

In RE, the children have been learning about Judaism. They have learnt about the synagogue as their place of worship and the different symbols and objects associated with Judaism.

In PSHE, the children learnt about making choices when spending money. They were given (an imaginary!) £10 to spend and had to choose what they would buy from the shop. Some children realised they did not have enough money to buy their chosen item so we discussed what they might do about it.

ES - I would go to the bank.

AK - You could do some chores.

OG - I would go and get some money from the bank.

EM - I would work.

In history, the children thought about the main reasons that the fire of London spread so quickly and then had to order them according to which they thought were the most important reasons. We have been blown away by the children's enthusiasm for this topic - the children have been busy creating lots of books about it in their provision time.

Just a reminder that today is the last day that new reading books will be sent home as Mrs Swift and Mrs Questa need to sort the books ready for September. Please ensure that all books are returned by Thursday 7th July.
