Week 4
This week it has been Science Week in school. The children have really enjoyed conducting different experiments including to find out who has the quickest reaction time in school and finding the quickest way to melt the ice.
We also continued our science work on animals which is a topic that the children have been really enjoying. Today, we learnt about reptiles and amphibian and the children worked in small groups to sort the pictures into the correct groups.
SE - Geckos are a reptile.
ES - Reptiles are cold blooded.
BB- Amphibians live on land and in water.
EK - Reptiles have dry, scaly skin.
SB - Sea turtles live in the water but they are reptiles because they have scaly skin.
JP - Amphibians have smooth skin.
