Week 5
This week we have been learning about Mary Seacole. The children really enjoyed being historians and using the clues in the 'mystery bag' to help them work out what Mary Seacole might have done in the past. We were blown away by the children's thinking and so impressed with their explanations.
We then thought about the key events in Mary's life. The children worked in groups to sequence the cards and used the sentence stems to re-tell the main events of her life. Well done year 1 - super learning this week!
