Reception Blog – Friday 8th May 2020

Happy VE Day Reception Class and families!

We hope you’re ready to celebrate this important day in your own, stay-at-home way! Tommy is very excited and will be reporting on today’s events over the weekend! We hope you’re enjoying the beautiful sunshine of the last couple of days – we imagine there are many paddling pools being filled at this very moment!

We have both loved receiving such a lot of emails and photographs from so many of you this week! Please keep them coming as and when you can. We LOVE to hear how you are all getting on and we are here to help in any way that we can. Seeing the children’s smiling faces always fills us with joy and hope. We miss our wonderful class so much!

Your Collingham Kid's Rocks group is absolutely brilliant! We wonder if anyone will paint them in red, white and blue, army camouflage or as the Union Jack flag tomorrow?

Miss Hicks has really enjoyed catching up with lots of you over the past couple of weeks and could almost feel the children smiling down the phone at her.

Please follow the link below to witness Mrs Letheren’s extremely amateur YouTube debut, filmed by 8 year old Matty! If this, by some miracle, actually works, there will be more stories and learning suggestions to follow!

Friday Farm Fun!

Can you design, draw and describe some farm animal pants?! What might a sheep wear?....woolly pants! Have fun and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

If it’s your birthday this or next week, we hope you have a fab day!

Stay safe and keep smiling everyone….We will remember them.
