Week 7
Wow - I think this has been our busiest week yet!
Thank you so much for attending our parent event on Wednesday - we were so pleased to share the children’s learning with you! We were blown away by the quality of the children’s puppets and it was lovely to see their ideas come to life after all their hard work this half term. The children enjoyed using their puppets to perform a puppet show to the children in reception.
We completed our history learning on new and old toys by setting up our own museum. The children created their own signs for our artefacts and thought about the roles we might need in the museum. We had ticket collectors working in the ticket office, staff telling visitors the rules of the museum and museum guides. We even had some children who were care officers who wore special gloves to handle the artefacts to ensure they weren’t damaged. We had special visitors from year 2, year 3 and even some members of staff! They were very impressed by how much we had learnt!
