Wk bg 07.06.21- How do farmers care for farm animals? This week we will look at how farmers care for the animals on the farm and what these animals need. We will also be matching animals to their young. In Big Write we will be writing a recount of our favourite parts of the holidays.
Wk bg 14.06.21- How do plants grow? This week we will be focusing on what plants need to grow and we will be learning about the names of the parts of plants. We will also be thinking about the differences between plants and animals and classifying them. In Big Write we will be thinking about what we can hear, taste, smell and see in our gardens and we will also be looking at the traditional tale of The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
Wk bg 21.06.21- How do plants grow? This week we will be thinking about the life cycle of an Apple Tree, we will be walking around school and looking at what flowers and plants we can see. We will be drawing our own life cycles. In Big Write we will be focusing on the story of 'The chick that hatched a cow' We will also be looking at the traditional tale of Little Red Riding Hood.
Wk bg 28.06.21-What food do we get from animals? This week we will be thinking about where our food comes from, we will be looking at how butter is made and making some ourselves and we will also be taste testing some of the different food from animals. In Big Write we will be focusing on the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and we will be planting our own beans!
Wk bg 5.07.21- How have I changed over time? This week we will be thinking about how we have changed, we will be learning about timelines and making some of our own. In Big Write we will be focusing on the story of The Three Little Pigs.
