Online Identity- Safer Internet Day 2020

The resources below have been produced for parents and carers to support the learning done in school about Online Identity as part of Safer Internet Day on February 11th 2020. Children in school learned about how their online persona and that of others may differ from their real-life identity and discussed whether this is a good or bad thing. We discussed how it is "good to be me" and that there is no reason for that not to carry over into the online world, provided that suitable precautions were taken to keep our personal information safe.

We hope you find the resources useful and that they provide the help and support that you need to protect your children when they are online and to develop the skills necessary to keep themselves safe too. If you have any concerns or worries about any of the issues raised in these resources, please feel free to contact your child's teacher, Mr Duffy (our computing and e-safety leader) or a member of the school leadership team.
