Year 3 children will be learning high frequency words, common exception words and other set spellings using Read Write Inc spelling formats.
We will continue to introduce a new spelling rule every Wednesday in school and practise it throughout the week.
Please check back here each Wednesday where a new spelling list will be added. Children should practice the spellings of the words as well as exploring what the words mean and how to use them in a sentence.
In addition to weekly spellings, Year 3 and 4 pupils are expected to learn common exception words. Please find the list at the bottom of this page.
