Remote Learning Hub

Welcome to our Remote Learning Hub which will be used to help support with learning in the event of individual children being required to self-isolate; whole class bubbles being collapsed; or full/partial school closures as a result of COVID-19.

Google Classroom will be our primary tool for teachers to release work to the children and to communicate with them directly. This should make the learning offer much more personal and interactive between home and school; however, parents would still have a responsibility to manage and oversee the work that the children are completing.

The Remote Learning Hub will  have links and supporting tools for Google Classroom; links to the class pages and class email addresses; and useful links to external websites that can be accessed for interactive games and resources to support learning. This includes PhonicsPlay, Purple Mash and SumDog.

This will remain available on the school website throughout 2020/21.

Class Email Addresses

In the event of the collapse of class bubbles, we will reinstate the class email addresses that had been used previously. The children will be able to message the teachers directly using Google Classroom, but parents may wish to contact the teachers directly themselves if they have any concerns.

Teachers will not be able to push out notifications to all parents in each year group, but they will be able to reply to any questions you may have. Please do not share work via email as this can now be done on Google Classroom. This is different to earlier in the year.

The class email addresses are as follows:

receptionclass@collinghamschool.org

year1@collinghamschool.org

year2@collinghamschool.org

year3@collinghamschool.org

year4@collinghamschool.org

year5@collinghamschool.org
