Week 4
This week, in DT, we continued to practise the skills we will need to make our own puppets. The children learnt to thread their own needle and do a running stitch. Once again, we were so impressed with how focussed and determined the children were.
In Maths, we have been comparing numbers using the correct mathematical vocabulary (greater than, less than and equal to) and symbols. The children enjoyed a practical lesson where they chose their own numbers to compare.
Another fantastic week - well done year 1!
