Week 6
This week, in Art, the children learnt about how artists use sketch books as a place to collect their ideas. They enjoyed creating and personalising their own sketch books. The children have been using these during their time in provision to develop their drawing skills and collect ideas for their art work.
The children enjoyed being scientists this week to investigate how to make a fizzing potion to make Santa’s reindeer fly. The children thought about how we could test the 4 ingredients and predicted which they thought would be the best. They worked in groups to test and record the results. They were very excited to tell Santa that baking powder would be best for his potion.
