Week 3
Super Science!
This week, we consolidated all our learning about materials and worked scientifically. Santa had set the children a task to find him a new waterproof cover for his sleigh. The children were scientists and thought about how they could use the equipment to set up a test to find out, made predictions and recorded their own results.
“Santa should use the plastic or tin foil so the wrapping doesn’t get wet in the rain.”
This week, in history, we investigated how daily life had changed at our school over time. The children enjoyed being historians and looking closely at old school photo albums to find out what was the same and different to daily life at our school today. Mr Seaton and Mrs Wilson also came to talk to us about their memories as they are both former pupils of our school.
