Preloved School Uniform Service
💙 Affordable, sustainable school uniform — provided by our PTA for our school community 💙
The Preloved School Uniform Service is run by the Friends of Collingham School (FoCS) PTA to support families, save money, and promote sustainability. Many children quickly grow out of their uniforms, and often those clothes are still in excellent condition. Instead of letting them go to waste, we collect these donations, check them carefully for quality, and make them available to other families in our school community.
This means:
Parents can access affordable uniform all year round.
Children benefit from high-quality, school-logo clothing without the full cost of buying new.
The whole school community plays a part in reducing waste and encouraging reuse.
Thanks to the generosity of our families, we are able to keep a wide variety of items in stock — from trousers and skirts to jumpers and PE tops — all at a fraction of the usual cost (or completely free if needed).
We’ve moved to a new, simpler system this year:
Fill in the Google Form on the link below with the items you need.
Within a couple of days, we’ll prepare your items in a bag labelled with your child’s name.
Collect your bag from the school entrance at your convenience.
Inside your bag, you’ll also find a QR code if you’d like to make a voluntary donation to the PTA.
Suggested donation amounts (entirely optional):
50p–£1 for trousers, skirts, dresses, polo tops
£2–£3 for jumpers and PE tops
Our main aim is to provide a useful service for families and extend the life of good-quality uniform items — donations are welcomed but never expected.
If an item isn’t quite right, simply pop it back in the donations box (in the bag it came in).
Although we no longer run half-termly playground stalls due to the large amount of stock, we will still hold pop-up shops at certain school events, so you’ll still have the chance to browse in person.
We are mainly looking for school-logo items in excellent condition. Please do not send in:
Shoes, socks, trainers, coats, underwear, hoodies, hats, or school bags
Items that are stained, discoloured, or threadbare
Only items that are clean, tidy, and in good condition will be passed on.
