Week 3
Our puppets are underway! The children carefully designed their puppet characters this week. They considered what colour felt they will need, which joining technique they will use and other decorations they might add. You can see some of their fabulous designs below!
The children then learnt how to use a template to cut two identical pieces of felt for their puppet. We were so impressed with how much perseverance and determination the children showed and how well they encouraged and helped each other throughout the activity. Well done year 1!
Just a reminder that if you have any old toys hiding in your lofts we would love to borrow them for our history topic! Please pass these over to Mrs Hesketh whenever you can or contact us via the office if you would like to come in and share them with the children.
