What a fantastic trip we had to Lotherton Hall this week!
We began our day with a Florence Nightingale themed workshop where we discovered that Florence Nightingale's cousin used to live at Lotherton Hall. The children were given a tour of the house by Florence, examined some artefacts linked to Florence's time at Scutari Hospital and even worked as nurses in the Teddy Bear Hospital. We were so impressed by how much knowledge the children could recall from our topic so far - well done year 1!
Finally, we enjoyed exploring Wildlife World and completed a picture hunt around the grounds.
