Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Thank you to everyone who made this morning's Harvest Celebration such a memorable occasion for the children. They thoroughly enjoyed performing their songs and poems for all in our school community. The positive comments from parents and grandparents were gratefully received and these have all been passed on to the children.
Also, a huge thank you for all of your generosity in sending in donations for St George's Crypt in Leeds and in the cash donations for this year's 'Heart & Mind' choices for school charities to support. The sheer amount of food, toiletries and clothing that you have sent in is absolutely staggering and will make a huge difference to those in need.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you into school tomorrow morning for our Harvest Celebration. Thank you to all those who have sent in non-perishable donations for St George's Crypt so far. We are extremely grateful for your generosity and these items will really make a huge difference to those in Leeds less fortunate than ourselves.
If you haven't had an opportunity to send something in as of yet, but you would like to do so, then please send these in to the classroom with your child tomorrow morning. Every donation - no matter how big or small - is really appreciated.
It was a busy year for all of the schools in the Wharfe Valley Learning Partnership (WVLP) during 2017/18 and as a school we benefited tremendously from the collaboration between headteachers and individual year group staff.
On the link below, you will find a 'WVLP Update' leaflet for parents that provides details of all the initiatives that we were involved in last year.
