Week 1
We had such a fantastic time at Mrs Harrison's garden this week. The children enjoyed lots of activities including:
Hunting for, and identifying wild and garden plants
Spotting evergreen and deciduous trees
Hunting for signs of wildlife
Sketching

This week, in maths, we have been recognising and counting in coins. The children worked brilliantly in teams to count coins to investigate which character had the most money.
We also started our new art pathway which is focussed around birds. This week, we used videos of birds to inspire us. We really focussed on shape and drawing with momentum. We paused the videos and looked carefully at capturing the outline shapes of the birds before adding detail. Look at some of the children's fantastic drawings!
