Super Science!
The children have really enjoyed learning about the main animal groups this half term!
Will - Fish live in water.
Orla - Fish have gills.
Henry C - Fish have scales.
Molly - A dolphin is a mammal because it has tiny hairs and gives birth to its babies.
This week we learnt about the key features of ( and differences between) amphibians and reptiles.
Ava - These are not amphibians or reptiles - you are tricking us! An elephant is a mammal and a parrot is a bird.
Leo - A snake is a reptile because it has dry scales.
Felix - Toads live in water and on land so it is an amphibian.
Freddie - An alligator is a reptile. It has dry skin.
