To complete our science topic on animals, the children worked as scientists this week to match the poo sample to the correct animal - don't worry - it was only playdough!
The children looked for clues to help them decide if the animal was a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore and then matched it to the correct animal.
Ava - I can see fur and bones so this must be a carnivore.
Roshan - I can see feathers that belong to a bird and leaves from a plant so it must be an omnivore.
Darcy - This must be from a deer. We know it is a herbivore and this has seeds and grass in it.
Henry F - This must be the owl's poo. It has to be from a carnivore because it has fur and bones so it has only eaten meat.
